Event identity & standards

Duke Quantum Center & NC State University Quantum Initiative

Brief

The international conference on Quantum Information Processing (QIP) is the premier annual meeting for quantum information research. The series allows for the theoretical quantum information community to convene for presentations and discussions of the latest groundbreaking work in the field. We partnered with the Duke Quantum Center and the NC State University Quantum Initiative to create an event identity and comprehensive guidelines for the 2025 conference.

Outcome

The logo and system design is inspired by quantum phenomenon of “quantum superposition,” a phenomenon in which is when particles exist in multiple states simultaneously. Taking visual cues from the logo, we developed a collection of branded elements adaptable to various use cases. Comprehensive guidelines were established to ensure brand compliance for both internal and external vendors, creating a cohesive visual identity and an impactful event experience.
